We are excited to be partnering with Western Schools through the Western Buddy Bag Program! This is a local ministry that meets the needs of kids and families in the Western School System. Each week, kids who are in need get to take home a bag of food for their families to eat. Western Buddy Bags is a nonprofit organization that provides Western Primary and Intermediate Students in grades K-5 a bag of kid friendly, nutritious food weekly to help ease childhood hunger. We typically provide around 130 students bags that are filled with food that are easy for children to eat or even prepare on their own if need be.
With increased costs, our annual expenses to meet the needs at Western is around $20k. Would you consider being a part of this program to provide supplemental food for these kids each weekend?
